Life in London: Comic Con 2015 [One of Three]

Hey everyone, I finally went to a Comic Con event and you know what I loved every single moment… I have decided that I will be attending comic con every year now! IT FELT LIKE BEING AT HOME!!!

Thank you to my dear friend Noemi for the ticket, if Mel (Her partner) didn’t opt out I’d be sitting home in front of a screen editing so yes Mel thank you too.

The atmosphere was amazing and I must mention that the crowed were so friendly and polite. It was amazing to see how much effort people put into their costumes some even made their own from scratch.

I leave you with some photographs and more will be uploaded soon. 1 of 3.

Hello everyone!

Its been a long time since I’ve posted anything on here. I’m sure you can all understand that life in London usually keeps you on your toes, especially when one tries to juggle and maintain multiple jobs whilst trying to have some sort of a work life balance. But as my friend keeps reminding me, it is important to enjoy life whilst trying to make it to the top.

So I did just that. As well as the occasional weekend trips to a new destination in the UK, I recently visited Egypt. I didn’t hold back in taking plenty of photographs, which I would like to share now with you all.

This new adventure was to the world renowned Egyptian resort, Sharm El Sheikh. I went there for a week and managed to squeeze in a day trip to Cairo, which was inevitable. I have to say I really enjoyed my time out there capturing the culture, life and sceneries. Sharm is a beautiful tourist resort, which meant that I would have to get out of the resort to get true reflection of the Egyptian way of life. So the short visit to Cairo really made me feel humble as I engaged with the raw surroundings of the Capital.

I hope you all appreciate this great country through my eyes.

Please don’t forget to like, share and comment.

I wish you a great day and a great adventure of your own.

Life In London: The Year of The Goat

Hello and good morning all…

This was my first visit to an event such as the Chinese New Year celebrations, one of the largest events outside Asia. So every year, hundreds of thousands of people from many different backgrounds gather up in the West End to wish each other “Xin Nian Kuai Le” (Happy New Year in Mandarin) or “San Nin Faai Lok” (in Cantonese).

The Chinese New Year 2015 celebrations took place in central London, Trafalgar Square, Chinatown and Shaftesbury Avenue.  As I walked through the busy street of Chinatown I came across performances from local artists and there were traditional food and craft stalls in various locations. The atmosphere was incredible; it was colorful throughout the streets with all the smells of Chinese food surrounding me, which certainly made me want to eat as I’m a food junkie too…

So, what is Chinese New Year? It’s huge festival among Chinese communities in London and across the world. Based on the lunar and solar calendars, the actual date of Chinese New Year varies, but always falls between late January and mid-February. Each year in the Chinese calendar is represented by one of the 12 animals of the Chinese zodiac. 2015 is the year of the Goat.

I used my Canon 5D mark iii with a 1.4, 50mm lens as I didn’t want to walk around with a larger lens and heavy gear making it harder to navigating though crowds. Recently my  old friend Samad from my home town moved to London, so I set him up with a 550D, standard kit lens.  He seemed to have fun clicking away and interacting with people during the event. I guess that’s the best thing about any photography; we get to meet a lot of interesting people with interesting stories.

I leave you with these photographs and hope that you enjoy what you see…

Brand new official ZAZA Photography website!

ZAZA Photography_-7
Hello good morning all, it’s been a while since I’ve posted any thing on here! The truth is I have simply been very busy but here is my brand new website! It’s the 3rd one in under 3 years… I guess I was not happy with the previous ones! So I decided to reboot the site with the help of my dear friend Helen Duong (she’s just awesome).

I wanted a fresh clean simple look for the site as I like simplicity but I’m surprised it took me 2 sites to get to this stage 😅. There’s no slide show on the front home page as I wanted clients to come on the site see all the work straight away also tried to make the navigation easier. I stuck to my original colour scheme as I love to keep things consistent.

So I hope if you view the site, you like what you see and as always thank you all for the support and love.
